    What may be a shame is that old gun may have been a very rare and valuable gun stolen from a collector. I had a friend lose one like that during a burglary. When it was recovered, it had been sawed off and used in a felony. Since it had been converted to an illegal weapon, the Police would not return it to him.

    was it a damascus barrel? Otherwise I would have to look it over in person but to me from the photo I can't see why it would be a problem to shoot it other than it would be a bear to handle.

    If I had to guess, it's not a Damascus barrel. But it has that cheap hardware store gun from the 50s look and it's probably looser than a meth hooker. I bet the soldering from the barrel has been long gone. Forearm is cracked too.
