why? I've used plain condoms for years and never had a problem just shooting right through them.

I use the Trojan unlubricated (ther red ones) they tend to stay on a larger barrel better.

It's always kinda made me laugh that field and stream takes itself so seriously, and then in the back, they have all sorts of kooky adds for get rich quick schemes, pheremones, you name it. I think field and stream must be written by the same bunch of dopes that do Rolling stone.

Just use black electrical tape, looks better, it works, and is less expensive. But, that was good for a laugh.

Same here. One tiny square of electrical tape on the muzzle always worked great on my rifles. Seemingly endless supply in a small used roll too.

If I tended toward dirt roads on my hunts, I might think about buying these.
