My cousin delivered his wife's 3rd baby at home in the tub. Growing up on a dairy farm it's not much different than helping deliver a calf.

Afterwards they took the baby in to the hospital just to make sure everything was ok.

I figured my work was done getting it in there and let the doctors worry about getting it out. Just as well, they both took after their mother and were a problem even the first day.

No, and if we had complications:
1) We had experienced, expert midwives standing by
2) We'd call 911
3) We had no history of complications

I will confess that it was hard to surf these forums while she was in labor though. I may choose a hospital and a doctor next time for this reason.
