What rifle/s would you pull out of the safe?

I'd have to pick one of these.....

    Where's the bacon?
No photos right now, but either one of my 10/22s or my Savage Mk II.

Easy choice... those're the only .22 rifles I have! I would like a longer barrel length on at least one of the 10/22s, but the barrel alone would cost me more than the whole rifle has so far, and that's not doable at present.

    Oh well. A Rifleman perseveres.

    Blessings,
    Bill

I would have to pick my Stevens 15-A. I still have a lot of practice with this old rifle to be my best, but it is definately a shooter. And fact of the matter is I just love this rifle, nothin' fancy, single-shot, manual cocking, factory v-notch sights(slightly modifed for 25M use), about as plain-jane as you can get.

I pull my Kimber 82 Government out twice a month for 50 yard prone smallbore matches. I shot a 389 with it last Sunday. Highscore ever is a 393 with irons.

Jay, do you ever take one of them out and shoot them on paper? I am truly envious of your collection.......

I was surprised to see a Winchester 52B. Learned to shoot with one of these. Dad got it used when he was a teenager. Unfortunately it is sitting in his gun cabinet and not mine. I am sure that it has not been fired since I was in college and used it to eliminate groundhogs at a research farm. That was 15 years ago.
