Well, crap. There's always Saturday for a measly $40m.
I'll be throwing in my $3 for one Hoosier and one Powerball per the norm.
I did hit a free ticket on the Hoosier last night.

So am I, but if they're led to believe there's a chance they could get rich from their donation I'm washing my hands of it.

I guess I would draw the line at being led to believe that there is a realistic chance as opposed to a minuscule nominal chance of winning. I bought a few tickets, but did so on the understanding that I had a better chance of getting struck by lightning twice by lightning and get captured by ISIS on the way home, and then have one of my alpacas become the next president.

"Your more likely to get struck by lightening" isn't their motto though.
I'm not even against the idea of a lottery if people want it. It's the government enforcing a state monopoly on the practice that's infuriating.

    No disagreement here!

My $20 work pool ticket got me $12. I guess the compound surrounded by a moat (heated of course) filled with alligators will have to wait a little longer.

I feel for you. I had to explain to the alpacas that the HVAC barn and the greenhouse over the pasture just aren't going to happen any time soon.
