WOW! Looks like no one was hurt but with the vid so short who knows. Can you imagine having to drive down those roads knowing full well that this could happen at any moment. Scary doesn't even cover it.

WOW that is an oldie but a goodie...

First No one was hurt in the making of this video. Although the crews of the 2 vehicles involved did have soiled drawers.

Second and you guys complain about the roads in Indiana and your commutes to work. Weenies it could be worse...

Thank GOD for dumb Camel Jockeys! If that one would not have been buried so deep we might not have gotten to see that video and our boys wouldn't have been there afterwards.:patriot:

Good driving by the driver. Didn't have much time to react at all. Watching the video a couple times, you can see a white package or object on the top of the road where the IED goes off. Must have been the detenation device? Seems like the first truck may have set it off.

This sheds light in IEDs for me. I was picturing surface lying shrapnel type explosions. :dunno:

That is what it was supposed to be. The Terrorists buried the bomb too deep, Usually they are only 2 to 3 inches under the surface. Had it been planted correctly, The guys in those two vehicles prolly wouldn't be with us today.

jtmarine1911 has it right. Our boys got lucky on that one

This is correct. I showed it to a Marine I work with and he said that is like the one his convoy got hit with (Iraq MP 2006). He said that it just rolled his Humvee but he had seen others that were not so lucky.

Under the road is just one place IED's could be. He said they never knew when clearing houses. Pictures, statures, coke cans, a box....literally anything could be rigged to blow.

    GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!!!:patriot:

We saw that video when we went through basic convoy operations. The Capt said that he was told no one was hurt. They buried it to deep, and detonated it to early/late.

    Keep em rolling.
