I have a Remington style derringer that I named after a girl that I used to know because it is just like her in every way. It is small and cute yet still it packs a pair of 38's. It's butt is smooth and round and feels so good in the hand. It's fit and finish is a little rough, but it is perfectly functional and completely trustworthy. It's trigger is a bit stiff and creeps just a little, so you know exactly when it's going to go off. It is very old fashioned, and so can be dangerous if not handled with knowledge and respect. When treated carelessly it can easily go off on you unexpectedly. It is beautiful and classic even if it shows quite a bit of wear. I had no choice but to call it Michelle.
