I've been looking into getting my UT or FL non-resident permit and got to looking at MI carry (when I should be looking at OH carry) because my mother-in-law lives in MI so I go there about once a year. Anyway, am I reading it right that you can carry into a school there as long as you possess your permit and OC? It seems you can carry basically anywhere prohibited as long as you OC, with permit. I'm not sure if that means out-of-state recip permits are honored in that way since it mentions registered pistols. They also seem to have some strange transport/open carry laws. You can open carry without a permit but you have to lock ammo/gun separate in the car. WTH is that about? It seems they make this quagmire of laws so they can say "GOTCHA" when you get confused and slip-up. I think OH has that same law as well. I need to look into OH law more since that is the reason I intend to get the UT/FF no-res permit anyway.

My eyes hurt now, I'm going to try to get some sleep. Instead of counting sheep, I'll count ordinances and subsection numbers.
