I believe that’s what they call the contradictive effect. They give depressed people downers and hyper people uppers the exact opposite of what you would expect. Coffee slows me down considerably.I have A.D.D. pretty bad. Coffee helps keep me even keel and doesn't affect me much as a stimulant. I can drink a pot of it and go straight to bed.
Although, now that I think of it, I've never needed much sleep in general. I average six hours or less most nights. Maybe I should try cutting my coffee intake and see if that makes a difference.
Ha no but thanks for checking It took awhile but I finally got to sleep, wasn’t very happy to hear that alarm clock this morning though…Just checking in to see if you’re still buzzing
I’m good with being out by 8, I really appreciate a solid 8 hours sleep!I usually have a couple cups after dinner. Never seemed to affect my sleep. If I didn't have the coffee I would be out by 8pm
Ewww. I’d love to hear how that originated. I’m curious if it wasn’t related to living through the Great Depression? My wife's late grandma would eat what she called coffee soup. She would put a slice of bread on a saucer and pour coffee over it.
I never understood that.
Thats my guess.Ewww. I’d love to hear how that originated. I’m curious if it wasn’t related to living through the Great Depression?
