Why do people keep saying Sig? Rep to the first person who can show me a 9mm, all steel, sig with a manual safety. ;)

    Rep for the challenge. :D
Well, this is awkward... This is the Sig 226 X5

Thanks to everyone who posted a guess. Here's a list of the other contenders.

Bersa Thunder Pro 9 HC - I still want this one.

Stoeger Cougar 8000 - Why get the knock off when you can have the real one? Yes, I know it's the same company, but anyone who has owned a Squire by Fender will understand.:dunno:

CZ 75B - I still want this one too.

    Taurus 24/7 - I guess they're still iffy.;)

    GIRSAN TUGRA 16 - Can't get these here! :(

I would love for you guys to show me where the safety is on a Sig. I'm going to go with Beretta 92 as well. Although, if he is getting creative and calling a .380 a 9mm kurz it could be a Walther ppk/s.
There are p226's with Safeties but not with a Decocker (i.e. one or the other). The issue is That the OP said safety/decocker and not "safety and decocker" or "safety + decocker". This would indicate to me that it has one or the other.

Although, it still doesn't count, because he said it was a decocker/safety. There is no decocker on this weapon. :D
My interpretation to that is above, but that's the issue - it's an interpretation that may differ from yours.

This pistol will go from hammer fully cocked to firing pin blocked and hammer fully de-cocked and with a flick of the safety lever. What would you say that makes it? I think it's a safety/decocker. The safety lever is the de-cocker and the safety no? :dunno:

Get your finger off the trigger! lol Nice choice, personally I would have went with a SIG, but I love SIGs. lol

I love Sigs too. My very first choice was a Sig P226 DAK but the price was too much for me. :( The idea that I can double strike a failed round is nice since I'll probably be shooting lots of cheap Russian ammo. :): The Cougar has that feature as well. :yesway:

What he said!!! Hand models should all know the safety rule of keeping your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. :D

Nice pistol and looking forward to a range report. :yesway:

You shouldn't misconstrue my statement to mean that they do not exist. I'm simply saying that it's not how I interpreted the post.
