Ihad a unique experience today. I recently started working as a nurse practitionerfor a surgeon. He asked if I would drive one of his cars to the BMW dealershipabout 50 miles from home for a routine maintenance appointment. He drove oneBMW and I drove the other. Little did I know that I would be driving the BMW750 Li. It drove like a dream. He didn’t tell me how much it costs but the BMW750i in the showroom was $96,000, and his was a step up, because it had aroomier back seat. It was the first $100,000+ car I have ever driven, and itwill probably be the only one I will ever drive, but….WOW what a ride!

A cousin of mine bought one used with under 35,000 miles. I think it was a 2005 or 2006. He paid right around $20,000. He has had it probably 2 years. He did get a good price on his but it seems that even after a year or 2, they drop pretty big in price. Not a bad car but I wouldn't drop 100k on one. If I had 100k for a car, it'd be a Nissan GT-R.

I LOVE the 7 Series BMWs. I used to valet in high school and I got to drive many $100,000+ cars. I'd say the 750li was my favorite. The only that may top it was the Bentley Continental GT. it was a freaking dream! Jermaine O'Neal's Rolls Royce Phantom was pretty sweet too.

I thought bmw picked up your car and gave a loaner for service stuff. Lexus did that when my mom had hers.
I don't know. I don't own one. He's new in town so he bought them previous to coming to town. Not sure if that was the factor. What ever the reason, I got a taste of different lifestyle. Happy to be driving my used SUV for which I paid less than $10k.

It's been a while, but for 2 years, ('01 & '02) I drove this rig coast to coast and got to play with the showcar in it every weekend. :D

That was a fun 2 years!
