Most fixed sight .38s are regulated for 158 grain bullets, so light fast bullets may hit low. If you haven't yet, you'll surely want to fire your gun to see how low it it's with that ammo. I'm not really offering advice, I'm just curious to see how low they hit, if they do, because I'm VERY pleased with the accuracy of the Critical Defense ammo from my 9mm, and am considering it for .38s also instead of the PDX1s I've preferred for a while.

silver tips impact very low out of my Charter arms . I think they are 110 Gr.
I found some Remington 158 Gr hollow pt , I don't remember the name off the top of my head, That is right on at 10 yds.

That is what I am carrying until I find something better.
The light bullets impact way to low for me to be comfortable with remembering to hold over during a critical incident

got to put some down range today, was awesome.

Rang two steel targets from 10-15 yards with about 25 rounds, only missed a couple of times.

Really sweet shooter she is, glad I have her with me all the time.

Man you must like to deal with alot of recoil as I have shot numerous smith snubbys with aluminum frames and they kick a lot. What loads are you using to practice and carry with it?

I was practicing with some WWB 125gr JHP and Hornady 110gr FTX.

I guess since I compete with a .40, managing recoil isn't that big of a deal to me.

Didn't really even notice it when I was double-tapping some steel.
