Hunting Rifle Sight Question

My son-in law and i sighted in his 30-30 henry last weekend- factory peep sight is excellent!

I just took a 3 point buck last week with my Mossberg 464 .30-30 lever.
Dropped him in his tracks with a Hornady 160gr FTX LeverEvolution.

The rifle came with Williams fire sights which turned out to be extremely useful in low-light.
My shot was right at dusk, 5:30pm, and I'm not sure I would have been able to find that front sight post in that poor light.

Love me some .30-30 lever action...

Was it a model that came with the Skinner sights installed? They are nice.

Probably- i gave Skinner peeps to my son and stepson several Christmases ago, other than being steel (
instead of brass) the Henry sights seemed the same.
