Chicago's gun control is typical of areas that have a historically high amount of organized crime influence.

An unarmed general populace makes it MUCH easier for the mob, and corrupt government officials are more than happy to pass gun control laws under the guise of "public safety".

Nope,it was ruled unconstitutional...so they reworded the law(for another supreme court battle 10 years from now).Nothing changed for the average person though.

Haha yeah. I type most these on a phone or tablet, and they don' t always come out correctly. I also had an issue getting purple to work.

I was just making a crack (wild west style) about all the guns west of here being our fault.

IIRC you can now possess one, and ONLY one registered pistol in your home in Chicago with the proper training and a permit. You still cannot carry one on your person.
