You guys perp your 1911 when you go to the range? I hit the range today with my Springfield GI and it shot very well, but I noticed that after about 40 rounds I had a few FTL issues when the magazine was fully loaded.
Now I am a Glock guy for the most part so I don't over CLP my firearms. But does a 1911 require a little more lubing then a light coating? Of course after doing my cleaning the firearm cycled perfectly.
It has been about 18 years since I last had a 1911 model, so any pointer would be helpful.
Thanks!
