I got a gift certificate for Lowe's. The value is $50 and I don't mind going a small bit over budget.

How would you spend $50+ at Lowe's on shooting sport related purchases?

    So far I'm thinking:

    small brass punches
    gun only tool box
    small hammer
    staples for my staple gun
    another tool bag (range bag)
    etc....

I'm sure that I am missing something really cool. Help me out, Please!

Get a cart , walk through every aisle and pick up the myriad of little things you don't have but probably need.

Every once in a while I will do this, picking up extra tape, wire, WD-40, a variety of screws and nails, twine, etc.

Dremel tool, I use mine to work on my guns and it makes it much faster and easier - depends on if you like to tinker or won't open them up.

Great for grinding/polishing the insides of guns, I don't think I've ever bought a gun I didn't take apart and try to make better though.

    Get some safety equipment.
They have decent eye protection in lots of different styles.
Mechanix gloves are great for shooting too.
Definitely grab one of those large boxes of AOS soft ear plugs (orange/purple) so everyone you shoot with will always have some available.

Lowes gift cards don't last long in my hands...

I have a LOWE'S gift card too, but I always go to Menards.

I got 20 bucks for Xmas at Lowes. Wish it had been Menards, but I might be partial since it was my first job umpteen years ago .

$20 is not a lot, so I ended up getting a nice pocket size knife sharpener for my EDC bag and a new snow shovel...

Ditto this...you could pick up a g2 and spare batteries. Great call.

How much is the G2? I was thinking about getting one from Dick's on sale for $40. I didn't know they carried them at Lowe's. As for the OP, you could get some home security stuff like lighting or locks. Just a thought.
