How often do you clean your gun?

Before and after every range trip. My carry gun I clean every 2 to 3 weeks, sometimes more often if it looks like it needs it.

Carry guns every two weeks or 200 rounds whichever comes first.
All others every 2 months they get a checkup.

My two carry guns every other week and the rest every month or after shooting.

I clean my gun every chance I get. It's therapeutic. My Long guns however much less often.

Cleaning guns to me is part of the joy of shooting. So if it gets shot, it gets cleaned. If it gets carried, it will get a daily inspection for function and cleaned weekly. If it goes out to the field it gets inspected and cleaned as needed. If it is in the safe it gets inspected monthly. Is this too much....possibly. But I have never had a malfunction due to lack of cleaning/maintenance.

Every time I get home from the range, I find it fun. It's a good habit, I suppose.
