Obama pulled out every trick from using using Lincoln to Reagan to no new taxes under $250K and eveyr thing else that might be a hot button issue for any group he talked to. Enough people drank the kool-aid (not all, just enough) to fall for it hook, line, & sinker.
If you want to call it ice cream, it's the same no matter which analogy you use.
Just think back to that video of the women who thought she was going to get free food, gas, housing, etc!
