My first pistol was a Ruger Super Single Six which cost me a weeks pay of $225 dollars in 1976 money.

$20 for a Baby Browning 25 caliber that a friend sold me to protect myself after I was stabbed and robbed on my paper route in North Minneapolis in 1963. I was 12 years old. I carried that pistol all through high school. I wish I knew where that little gun is. I lost it when I got the letter from Uncle Sam in 1970.

High Standard 1911 I paid 330 for it with 4 mags including a 14 rd mag, an uncle mikes holster and 200 rounds of .45 ACP.

My first newly purchased handgun was a S&W M&P 9mm and I paid $499.99 for it before tax.
