Works pretty well for $13. I get a few cases here and there that will slip out between the bag and receiver, but it's a hell of a lot better than picking up 30 cases off the ground. I'd recommend it.
On topic:
My next AR build is in it's beginning stages. It's a pistol build that will eventually be an SBR.
Ive got $800 in mine. Its RRA LAR15 bought it lightly used it came with MOE furniture and Magpul BUIS rear sight and a aimpoint knock off which Ive since removed and am saving to buy an EOtech XPS for it. Great gun.
I have just over $800 in mine. It's pretty much all PSA parts with a Primary Arms micro red dot. My first AR and I love it so far, surely only the beginning though!
Plus 2 PMags, at 12 each, brings us to 284. Planning on getting a complete 20" upper with magpul handguard for around 450 (the one I want from PSA is out of stock at the moment.)
So, once I get that, it'll be sitting at 734 (+S&H). I think I will want to upgrade to a magpul CTR or ACS stock, though, before all is said and done (the MOE wiggles a little too much).
I won't give exact numbers because it hurts to look at it, but my HD model is same price as approximately 4-5 brand new Glocks. My truck/lightweight AR is about 3-4 new Glocks. Oh my how the money just disappears.
Got to thinking, Its just a bushmaster predator rifle, but then its had the Cheek rest stock and quad rail, similar to a SASS. That with the leupold Mk 4 6.5-20x50 First Focal Plane the total amount was retarded. The gun was 1063 tax and all, the scope was 2k used, ( I had it on a FN .308 Rifle orginall) I would guess, with addition mags, grip, bipods and all I am near 3700 out the door. Its nothing special is the worst thing about it. Not overly accurate, not small enough to be a tactical set up, but I guess the scope does make up 2/3 of the price!
