im not sure if that was a pun....but yes....for me its things like...i bought one with 3 mags and for the same price another comes on the market with 5 or 6 mags

Murphy's Law right? Next time, take all the money you have saved up and hide it somewhere where you forget about it. Then, you'll trick the universe into forgetting you have the money and BAM... the guns will flow!

So why is it that we buy so many guns? Why does it seem like we always need another one? 6 months 3 12 gauges, 1 22 long gun, 3 hand guns and still wanting more.

Because we can! And in most cases, they ain't getting any cheaper.

I sell one to get some cash then what I want is no where to be found. Lot of work some times. All part of the hobby I guess.

Happens all the time. When your not ready to buy , the "right" firearm for your collection appears at a unbelievable price. Then you save and wait "seems like forever". Then pull the trigger and spend more.

Fortunately for me I never have this problem.

I have two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom, so I never have any extra money to buy guns. I just stay out of the classifieds all together.

A wise old fellow told me, "If you see something you want buy it, tomorrow it'll be gone". So I went right back and put $150.00 down on the 305 Honda. He loaned me the other $150.00 to complete the deal. Went the next day to pick it up, another guy wanted it offered me $100.00 more than I paid. Owned it 5 years, my brother another 5. Good Investment!

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I have seen many 1911's in the past I would like to own, but now that I want to purchase one, I cant find any. Maybe I am just being too picky...

I tried looking at GunBroker one time with my eyes closed. Didn't work...bought a Weatherby!
