I have three currently .22lr, .40 S&W, and 7.62x39, I'll be adding .308/7.62x51 in the next couple weeks and prolly a 9mm para before summer and hopefully a .45ACP before summer
I didn't include the .177 because, like you said, it isn't a firearm.
I doubt if many think owning a pellet gun is something to be ashamed of, probably the easiest and cheapest way to enjoy shooting sports. Certainly a great, unintimidating way to introduce young/new shooters to a lifelong hobby.
My wife would have never fired a gun if not for slowly warming to the idea after several sessions of plinking with the RWS. Now she claims my Ruger 22/45 as "her gun"
