Lots of vacant/abandoned/ foreclosure s but no burnouts by me.

In the last two years my area has plummeted in value. Mean sale price is now 75k. I kinda wish they were burned shells, then I might be able to argue some value into my property despite the comps considering I have more than double that in my home.

    Open meadow sounds nice!

That's what is looks like behind my shop...... the city has been buying up all the homes that were damaged during
the flood this year and tearing them down. They removed the streets and are going to grade the area over...... it's almost park like now.

I used to have 4 acres of hayfield next to me, with a patch of woods next to my house. Deer would bed down in there, we had oriels in the spring and birds singing year round, tree frogs in the evening and the smell of freshly mowen hay in the summer... Now, apartments... I'd rather have the deer and the birds any day!

Most of the vacants have been filled and only 2 total losses here in a few years. There was a couple of garages the went up but they might have been Chef meth involved???
