Do you even need that much power for a fishing boat?

The boat has to be stationary while fishing, and with those nice ladies on board you have all the time in the world to go slowly from the harbor to your fishing spot.

I would save money and just use a paddle boat.

I would save money and just use a paddle boat.

Ladies like you see in these pics don't go for guys with paddle boats. Having the kind of money needed to buy those engines is what attracts the women in the first place.

two things:

I cannot imagine the gas that boat goes through. When I lived in NC, I won a charter fishing trip. The boat was a 33 foot Grady White with twin 300 or 350s. Captain said at full throttle it would do 60+, but was burning about a gallon a minute. I'm guessing that boat is sleeker, but those extra 1500 ponies are thirsty.
