1999 Honda Shadow 600cc VLX. I Purchased it 2 years ago from another Ingo member, rode it for 2 seasons and it has been sitting in my garage since I got an enduro bike.
Has been the most reliable bike I have ever owned, I put 4000 miles on it including a 2500 mile trip to Mount Rushmore and down to Colorado and back with no issues.
This riding season I put a new battery and voltage regulator on it. Has 26,000 miles on it. Located in Broadripple/NE Indianapolis
$2500
The Good:
Extremely reliable bike
Tread on tires is good
New battery and voltage regulator
Stored in a heated garage
Brake pads are good
Previous owner installed chrome crash bars
Includes windshield and both saddle bags
The Bad:
Starter button on the right handle sometimes sticks, a problem that plagues most shadow and rebel bikes
Paint is blemished on the rear tail from a MSR fuel can I had that leaked, not very noticeable and does not affect performance
Sissy bar mount has a stripped bolt that I haven't had time to play with yet.
