    I see stuff like this every once in a while and I have to shake my head. I may not be experienced at HAM despite an "Extra" ticket, but I'd imagine that jamming radio signals is ridiculously easy, esp. with the resources of a government at your disposal. Further, with military operating on different channels and with encryption we don't have equipment to break, they wouldn't even have to make the channels available for their own use. Just jam/scramble the civilian airwaves or better, leave them open as was suggested upthread.

    If I'm mistaken, someone in the know enlighten me, but I can't see how anyone thinks this contingency hasn't been planned for and handled already.
