But, but on the Internetz no one wears eye pro.

Great now I have to grow a Van Dyke and wear a dirty, smelly baseball hat when I have my shotgun, and flip it around, while I "scan, scan, scan", and yell "zulu!" and "x-ray" for no reason at all.:D

If it's shotgun home defense, shouldn't you have to go through the course in like, underwear, or pajamas, or naked?

Also, why do you need a class for this? I've been to the movies, you just hold your shotgun down at your hip, point in the general direction of the bad guy, pull the trigger, and he goes flying about ten yards backwards.

Oh, and you rechamber a round with one hand ala Linda Hamliton in Terminator.

    Class dismissed.

Incorrect... you use a BFG9000 errr.... Saiga 12 with a 20 round drum.

No reloading needed, and the whole NEIGHBORHOOD goes flying backwards... :D

Use a pistol, try and get out of your room with a shotgun in the dark it is not easy, practice at home and get a system down for "house cleaning", you might want to call 911. Im not saying don't use a shotgun but in my house a shotgun is not my best option unless barracaded in my room.

Pistol's next on the list. I have tried that some, I'm just worried that practising a system that could be fundamentally flawed in a way I don't know about because I know nothening about room clearing will hurt me later. Either in a real situation or when I go take a course.

I'd just like to learn from a pro before learning any bad habits, if possible.
