I prefer to carry IWB. I finally found a sturdy belt. I wanted to carry my Sig 1911 ultra compact at the 1500 but apparently my capris were too high in the waist. Even though my capris came an inch or so below my navel, the grip of the gun rubbed on my ribs too much. I had it in a Don Hume leather holster.

I switched to my SP101. Since I had only planned on purse carrying it, I just had a cheap Uncle Mikes soft holster with me for it. It carried well overall but still rode higher than I would have liked and was rubbing on my ribs by the time I made it to the car after the show.

At the 1500 I bought a cheap Uncle Mikes shoulder holster for the SP101. I figured I would see if I like the concept before I spend a lot of money on a higher quality leather one. Has anyone tried a shoulder holster for their J frame? Any pointers?

Have you looked at the flashbang bra holster for your snubbie?

I use one for my Bodyguard 38. It does the job & is pretty unnoticeable, even under blouses & fitted shirts. The only drawback is that it is useless when you're wearing a dress.

    This is just my :twocents:!

No, I haven't tried one yet. Tho recently went to a gun show at Fort Wayne and found a nice belt that will do the trick and an iwb holster that seems to be working pretty well so far. I d like to try the flash bang.
