    Yeah, I know. A friend of a friend fell on hard times and couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Only problem was that I didn't have the extra cash at the time either so I couldn't help him out!

    Here's a (bad) pic of me rockin' a buddy's MP-5SD a few years ago:

    There were probably 6 or 8 of us at that shoot, and we ran that b*tch as fast as we could load mags... Even with stripping and cleaning the gun every 300 rounds or so to keep it chugging along, we got it so hot the paint bubbled. :eek:

    Wow, how much does an MP5 run, because even though it's an HK, I still don't know if I'd feel comfortable running it to the point that the paint bubbles.

    The gun (registered S&H sear in an HK94-to-MP5SD conversion host) was probably worth around $14,000 then; closer to $19,000 now. He's got some awesome toys, but certainly isn't afraid to run them hard.
