I'm looking to purchase a a carry pistol for my girlfriend. We already tried a S&W bodyguard 380 auto, and she didn't like it. (hurt her hand when shooting it.) So I'm here asking my fellow INGOers for some recommendations on a pistol for my girl to CC with. Not looking for anything stronger than a 9mm.

    Thanks in advance!

My Wife loves her Walther PK 380. I liked it so much I bought one too,lol

Honestly, I'd at least let her handle a lot of them is a shop or rent. I've picked two for my wife, a 380 PPK, and a GLOCK 17, and she did not really like either. PPK was too "wuss" for her and the 17 did not fit her hand right.

Possibly a Beretta tomcat in .32. I know its not exactly a large caliber but very little kick and when you shoot it and no slide racking. Just pop up the barrel.

    Beretta Nano

My wife loves to shoot my Ruger SR9c but it is to large for her to carry so last weekend we purchased her a new Beretta Nano. She loves it and shoots it very well. Very accurate from 5 to 10 yards.

    Down the road a piece...
Pk380 or PPS 9mm. We bought both and like both. The 380 has little recoil and since the barrel is a little longer than most 380s (most pocket 380s) I would assume a little more muzzle velocity.

All that being said, I'd eventually like to get a 357 revolver for my wife but use 38 or maybe 38+P. depends on how it shoots.

Like many here have said, find one that fits her hand and go from there.
