What a nice install. So many of the sight upgrades on the highpower just sit on top, requiring a huge front sight. With the dovetail in front, a person has lots of flexability. That is a pistol to be proud of.

Another great thread! Thanks for taking the time to post this.

BTW, you should do a gag thread. Rather than show the awesome tools you have at your disposal, take the part out of the vice and do the photo's with a dremel in your hand like it was all done free hand bubba style. Ideally, when you have a project that involves a rare and expensive firearm. :): Float that into the internet and see if it gets traction.

I am doing a lot of work all the time it seems. I have gotten to the point I don't take many pictures anymore. I just sent home a unique project gun today and didnt take any pics :(
Getting lazy I guess, I'll have to work on that.

Just wanted to chime back in and say how nicely this thing shoots...took it to the range last week for the first firing after all the work and once I got the sights tapped into the right spot...she is a really sweet shooter.

    Once again Allen...great work

On a side note...if you get your gun hard chromed...it makes the sights very "slick" in the dovetails...so I had to peen the sights for more retention.

    God bless
