This is what you get when a polarized committee has to agree on a plan. Many things were compromised before it was put to a vote. It's pretty much a private enterprise (insurance co's) with the gov't setting up exchanges and minimum requirements as I understand it. I'm not sure I'm totally for subsidies unless it's a zero sum game or cost less. I'm not sure either of those might happen. It does tickle me though to have PrintCraft support my progeny.....
