I want to thank the OP for, in the spirit of what makes this forum great, being willing to share some info that he found beneficial to himself, in the hopes that someone else might benefit from his making others aware. THAT is what I think this thread was originally about.
He was immediately countered with an extremely antagonistic and agressive post indicating that his way of thinking angered Andrew. For someone who is supposed to be such a fine, upstanding part of our community, I feel his post was about as rude and inconsiderate as it gets on a forum like this. It was simply uncalled for in my opinion. However, it was a very effective redirection. Within no time at all, this thread became a "Praise Andrew" thread.
Don't get me wrong... there's nothing wrong with someone singing the praises of someone who provided them superb service. INGO is a great avenue to do this, and like I said above, sharing info others can benefit from is what makes INGO a great place. Andrew has obviously exceeded the needs and expectations of a LOT of people. These people want to acknowledge him for that and that's fine. Lord knows there have been numerous threads on here opened for just that purpose.
I understand the support your LGS mentality. However, I have to admit I don't really understand how someone who so agressively criticizes someone for taking business dollars from their LGS by spending those dollars at a Walmart, can do so when they are listed as a "Preferred FFL" on BudsGunShop.com. Isn't Bud's kind of the Internet Walmart of online "just make the sale" gun suppliers? If he feels so strongly people should be supporting their LGS, why would he be a business participant with an impersonable mass online sales organization that takes revenue from the buyer's LGS? I guess I just feel there is a little inconsistancy in the principal on which the original criticizm of the OP was founded, and for what he was trying to do, the OP didn't deserve what he got.
Before the fire storm rains down upon me, let me clarify something. I feel Andrew is a great person. I've met him and I've purchased from him. I think he has been a substantial contribution to the reloading community in general and INGO in particular. I also think he's a great business person. You simply don't get the following of supporters he has if you're not doing a lot of things right. I simply feel what went down in this thread was wrong. Just my opinion. No more or less valuable than any other opinion expressed in this thread. I give this response two or three replies before I am labelled an "Andrew hater", but that's simply not the case.
