Wanna check mine at the French Lick casino. Left my H&K P7 in the vehicle last week.

Just haven't witnessed anyone else doing so, and I haven't noticed any storage facilities near turnstiles. Guess I'll ask.

As soon as your going thru the turnstiles look to your left. There is a door.. Inside that little office, they have 4 lock boxes.. They hardly ever get used.. There has been times when I sign my gun in that I notice I was the last one to sign out on the paper and it was over a 2 week period..

You just tell the security at the turnstile and they will get you taken care of.

Hoosier Park does not allow you to check in a firearm. I wanted to check in my firearm and they told me to leave it in my vehicle. They told me they do not have lock boxes for firearms. I have not been there for a while so if they have changed let me know.

Yes we do have a lock box and it is highly recommended that you use it, weapons are not permitted in the casino.
Once you get to the turn style at the casino let the security officer there know that you have it and they will take care of it for you from there.
Thank you and have a wonderful day.

BTW, The folks at Belterra are usually pretty calm and relaxed about it, no big deal. Although, I usually keep mine in my room. You can carry to your room, you just can't step foot on the actual casino or "boat" portion of the casino. They have a "gate" area or turnstile you go through that is the ingress/egress to the casino. Just don't go past there an you are fine!

Asked a security officer at Blue Chip about firearm checking there. They have an area there to secure firearms. They issue a claim check and place ammunition and firearm in a locked area. I think he said something about taking a photograph of the owner, but missed part of what he said.

I have called a few and they would not check a gun one of them Anderson. Its good to know that there are some that will. I usually take it straight to the room and use the lock box in the room (Blue Chips).

Isn't that a horsetrack? Is there a casino there?

If there is no casino, the laws and regulations pertaining to the LTCH and casinos won't apply.

It is both now...they have slot machines and electronic table games, along with some of the other casino type fair, i.e., restaurants, etc.

    A big 10-4 On that 7orelevn...

I almost had to sell my Glock to get out of French Lick early last year. I kept hitting my e'fin Discover Card at the cage. That was my only bad experience there. I used to really enjoy playing the golf courses in the area

We are NOT going back down there for a while.

Many years ago, I read a statistic that said there was no place in the continental United States that was further than a 3-hour drive from a casino. I wonder what the statistic is now?
