Hmmm... One of the themes of this board is that bacon makes almost anything better. I wonder how wasabi bacon would work out? This seems like a promising area for research.

My buddy always raved about this snack.. And if you like Wasabi.. Man youll love these! They taste like Corn Nuts dipped in Wasabi but way better for you.

FIRE STATION CLOSE CALL IN UTAH
A Salt Lake City (UT) FD Captain was saved by his crew Saturday night after having a severe allergic reaction to "dried wasabi peas". Captain Steve Hoffman had the reaction after eating dinner at Fire Station #2. He advised his crew about the event, they immediately gave him an IV and benadryl and transported him to the hospital where he was later released. Captain Hoffman was back on the job Sunday.

Wasabi peas are the bomb. Love my wasabi peanuts also. Great for the sinuses and general flavor.

Don't know if you guys have the "Charlie Browns" Steakhouse chain in your area, but they have them in the salad bar, which comes with the meal. Most supermarkets carry Blue Diamond wasabi almonds.

Never tried them until reading this thread. Now I keep them on hand all the time.
