If you have 1/4" pegboard on the door, Johnson Safe @ Noblesville has some real nice heavy plastic pegboard hooks. I know... plastic, but these are well made and easily removed and repositioned. Use 2 per gun and hang gun upright by bbl and frame. Do NOT hang by trigger guard, bad things can happen if you fail to unload autos properly!! (Don't ask). The dish drainer concept seems like a good idea too if you have to go to shelf space. I would repeat what has been said about, cloth, leather, cardboard and pistol rugs. These items will pick up moisture and ruin your guns pretty quick. I would also add that the carpet and fabric inside the safe will also hold moisture. It is a good idea to keep the areas in contact with gun parts coated with a good spray lube and check often.
