Very nice! The legendary Colt Delta Elite in 10mm. How long you had that beauty?

Not too long. And then right after I get it I found exactly what I was looking for. Lol. Go figure. Is a very nice firearm though. Very impressed with its accuracy.

Hmmm, Did you happen to trade a Kimber for it? it looks familiar !!

Fine looking colt, that's for sure.

A bit further down the 'cash value' list...but meaning more to me than most of the guns I have collected over the years, is this TOKAREV TT33, Soviet Made in 1940....God only knows how it got to Vietnam in 1962 where I bought it from my Houseboy just before returning from my 'visit' to RVN. It is my one 'Trophy' from that tour, and does get fired now and then.

Nice Intro ! My Tok is very loud, and in lw light the muzzle flash is quite bright.

I often wonder what experiences that Russian gun had from 1940 to 1962, when I adopted it.

Yeah, who knows. Could be some very interesting stories to be told. Is the ammo hard to find? Expensive?

About the same as 9mm, but the demand is not near as bad. I haven't bought any 7.62x25mm for a couple of years. I took over a year to use a box of 50 the last time I bothered to keep track. I've had the gun for over 50 years now.
I like to think that I took the gun out of the hands of a VC 'agent' who was watching us in his job as a Houseboy...but who knows, he was selling all kinds of black market crap to the GI's in those days.:dunno: Besides I was hungover bigtime the day I left, and stuck the gun in my duffel Bag til I got to Japan, then put it in my hold baggage for the return home. In those early days ('62) nothing was 'searched' when we came home.

This is one of my favorites. It was my grandfather's. He died when I was only 4 so I really dont remember him. Shortly before my grandmother died a couple years ago she passed it on to me. Its one of my favorite ones to shoot. Its in excellent condition and I look forward to passing on again.

Its a Webley MkIV, .38 S&W. As I recall it was manufactured in the 30s and if you pay attention, it appears to be the preferred sidearm of Indiana Jones. (at least in the first movie) :)

Oh, and I was told grandpa purchased it new for a whopping $60. :)

If anyone has one of the firearm blue books, I'm curious what the value is today. Not that I'd sell it for 10x that price... its more idle curiosity than anything else.

To make things more interesting, the slide is not original to the pistol. Really wish that gun could talk.
