handgun permit question

i had a permit 20 years ago trying to apply for a new one online and they are asking for my permit number from my first permit dont have a clue any ideas how i could get it

You might try requesting from the state police

when it asks you if you had a prior one, just answer no.
several years ago I had a LTCH and then moved to tennessee.. when i came back and applied again i just clicked no, because i hadn't seen my pink card in ages.

I guess you could do that, if you didn't care about the...this information is accurate to the best of my knowledge sign here part.

I would just request it from the state police as well.

Been there done that. No records that far back. Just tell them when you go in person to finalize the paperwork that you had a permit 20 years ago and they should make a note for the State Police. Or just click no in the appropriate box.

You can obtain that by calling Indiana state police in Indy.
