    Fun picks -- I will 'swim against the stream,' and say I'm glad you didn't make a target out of him. I'm all for defending one's home & property, but that 'coon' and other wildlife don't need to be hunted at a conservation club

    I don't kill things for the fun of it and as long as Mr Coon is acting normal we are fine. That said, if he is showing any indication of rabies I will put him down in a heartbeat. In the OP's case it sounds like the little guy was having a good time doing one of the things they are good at, mooching some goodies.
