Gunsmith flashhider question?

Hi, i picked up a bunch of parts at the 1500 yesterday and built my first AR last night? Actually the upper was already assembled. Its 9 mm but the flash hider was for .22 cal. I drilled it out to 23/64 which is .359 and the 9mm is .354 is this enough or should it be drilled larger?

Typically muzzle brakes/devices are a minimum .030" larger than the groove diameter of the barrel.
