Guns don't kill people...bullets kill people :ugh:

    That's not really true, either.

Bullets create a wound. If left untreated, the wound could cause excessive blood loss or sufficient internal damage to cause death.

So really, weak people or dummies who don't get their wounds tended to cause their own death. The stuff leading up to that is just POTENTIAL to cause death.

His quote is actually quite correct guns don't kill people unless you beat them to death with it. It is actually the round that kills. You can throw a hand full of rounds into a fire and kill someone when they go off, but if you throw an empty gun into a fire nothing but hot metal.

In other words ... the famous:

"Guns don't kill people, bullets kill people"

It's going to be easier for the government to bad reloading, gun powder and shell casings. Sure many can reload, but most can't actually make a functioning shell casing or smokeless powder that's worth a crap. So ....
    stock up.

    Yeah:

    Guns don't kill people.
    Bullets don't kill people either.
It's those gaping holes in vital organs that kill people.

    But on a serious note:

Take your buddy to the range by hook or crook. Nod and smile as he spouts all sorts of stuff but get him shooting a 22. Then take him back for more of his lectures so long as he cranks off a .38 for a bit.

For all his talk, you will eventually win so long as he has fun shooting cans and watermelons.

    Let him talk.
    Get him to shoot.
In the end he will come around and you will not have to say a thing.

Experience kills fear. Arguments just entrench it.

See and this is why I said there is still good people left! Point proven. I just don't get some people. They are the ones who can't take blame. Instead of looking half way intellegent, they turn around and throw it all out. Because blaming an object makes you look smarter. This is only going to get worse. :(
