    I use the re-chargeable de-humidifiers by Remmington to keep the safe dry and use the rifle rod kit from Store More Guns | Gun Storage Solutions | Make your safe BIGGER! to get more capacity. I really had my doubts at first but they work and make getting my guns in and out easier. For the safe queens they go in the back of the safe inside a silicon gun cover. Pistols sleep safely inside pistol pockets that attach to the inside of the safe door with velcro that grabs the carpet nicely. I'm a bit anal about my safe and this setup works the best for me

    I know this might sound stupid but an older coke or pepsi machine thats not functional can be bought for less than $100 bucks.( I'm not referring to collectible)

    They show up on Craig lists, local auctions, e-bay fairly often.
    They can be stored in the basement or in the garage, lag bolted to the wall, and are just about 100% safe from being broken into.
