I went today. Wasn't a bad show I though. There was a good selection of pistols to browse through. Found a couple good possibilities that I may consider purchasing. I really like the Smith & Wesson 642's =] I'm def going to take a drive to the Valpo show!

I enjoyed it, i went looking for extra mags for my G29 and a UpLula. I didn't realize that this was an Uncommon Product the (UpLula). i asked about it at several tables and all i got was a strange look.....for a small venue it was descent, thought there was a good selection, some of the same vendors as the 1500. Just my 2 cents worth, i'd go back if i was in the area again.

Yeah, i'm going to invest in a 642 someday. They are awesome with the Crimson Trace grips on them. I seen some vendor at CP today trying to sell the CTC grips for like $300! They are $230 at Cabelas lol.

I was there, walking around trying to sell my Glock 29. I even had 2 holsters, 2 boxes of ammo, and a dpms lrpk-1 that came with the gun, all for $500

You never know what or who you can come across. For $5 you can't go wrong.

I disagree. I took the past several shows off. I went Saturday hoping things had improved. I won't be making that mistake again.

I haven't seen any deals there in YEARS.

When I first moved up here 8 years ago, while small, it was a decent show, with some good vendors.

Now it's mostly a flea market (a crappy one, not a good one) with some overpriced junk.

It sucks. Granted if you want to hang out and ask every person with a box/gun in their hand (which aren't many) if they want to "sell that" you might find a deal, but you won't be getting anything from a dealers table at a reasonable price, assuming they even have anything you want.

Plenty of $20 and $25 transfers around for guns and you can order ammo and have it delivered for nearly half the price at what they charge at that show.

Saving my money for the Valpo Show in 3 weeks

I've had mixed luck there. Midwest is usually there and I've had good luck from them. Sometimes a guy in the back sells cases of milsurp ammo for the same price as online... Primers can occasionally be had cheap...

Mixed lot, but at least you have a chance of getting a deal at that show. I probably wouldn't go to this one except that I live in Porter county now, so I can't use the distance excuse ;)

Went Saturday got a good deal on an SKS, a couple of gun cases, bought some brass, but someone needs to realize the candy,Coon skin hats , jewelry and dumb bumper stickers need to be either in wing by themselves or gone altogether. To crowded for that junk, I don't go to a gun show to by popcorn or some sausage! it's a gun show not novelty or housewares show. Heard lots of others who felt the same way Whoever runs it needs a heads up if they care.
