I think it's an OK show. It is on the small side from what I've been told. I've been to the Crown Point and Valpo shows, and by comparison, it is a smaller show. They hold the show in the Stardust Event Center,
so it is clean, carpeted and well lit. I like because I work there and it is very convenient to stop in after work.
I have never heard of a gun show at the boat. I thought guns were off limits there but they have a gun show… Thats funny but its only about a 15 min ride and its fathers day so the wife can't tell me no…… right?
I am at the show and it has a good variety of dealers. There are over 240 tables and plenty of guns and ammo. zx gun, Belcher gunsmithinog, a couple of Glock armorers qutie a collection of New and used guns. Ed Crithfiels with his parts collection and there is a huge winchester display. Even Class III sales showed up. It is probably the biggest turnout of vendors at the Blue Chip so far. Plenty of ammo, both new and reload. I talked to a couple from Ohio, Liberty Tactical and they have everything that you would need for and AR 15. Also Georgia Optics is here from Atlanta.
I just got back. It's not as big as Valpo, but it's a nice show and growing. I picked up some venison and some duck sausage, then found the same brand in a local store on the way home, but 30% higher in price.
I went first thing this morning.....Picked up S&W 38 spec and a Taurus 22 mag revolver....and some ammo.
No papers and a cash moola sale and I was out the door
It all depends on how far you live. I went a year and a half-2 years ago and it was a good show. If memory serves I bought a couple ammo cans and a pocket knife.
Thanks for the info. Didnt know there was one there. Check it out tomorrow. Anyone know if the jerky company Zicks meats out of Michigan is there? They have the best alligator jerky ive ever found and now im hungry for some!!!
