    NO HORESPLAY WITH GUNS.

No live primers to make him wet himself. It could just as easily blind someone.

Never hand a gun to someone unless you have opened the action and checked the chamber.

I will not take a gun handed to me if the action is not open.

If somone working in a gun shop or similar industry can not follow THE MOST BASIC basic gun safety rules after a few stern reminders (s)he needs to be fired. The sooner the better.

Glad to hear that the problem has been resolved.

DING DING DING! Thank God some one with some sense in this thread.

Who the heck elected this pack of fools the educators of who ever they meet? Dummy rounds and primers? Get an education for your selves.

The only way to LEAD in a free society is BY EXAMPLE.

Every time all the time. That's why I have never had a gun go off accidentally. I always explain this practice to everyone around me also.

When picking up a firearm consider it loaded . . . then clear it.
When handed a firearm consider it loaded . . . then clear it.
I wouldn't dry fire a firearm without clearing it . . . cleared when first touched.
Most importantly, never point it in the direction of anyone.
Games shouldn't be played with any firearm. Someone may try some other sort of return trick, none of which are funny around firearms.

I always drop the mag and lock the slide back no matter what. No if, ands, or buts, or butts....... ALWAYS!!!
+1. I do the same and always always always make sure to consider the gun loaded. It's a privilege to be able to collect, shoot, or carry pretty much as feely as we desire so we should all make sure that we respect firearms and exercise proper safety when handling them.
