    For slightly older kids, 4H offers shooting programs

    If you are talking teens or even pre-teens, then the NRA Firearms Safety or even the Basic Pistol classes are very good. Lots of ranges offer these courses.

    I think the Danville CC (see my sig) will be setting up another Basic Pistol class in the early Fall. Check the website for info. They also offer a Youth Program based on demand.
