    They're both cloth covered foam inside. One is an Uncle Mikes, and the camo colored one is "Assault Systems" (never heard of it)...
    And I DID get them half price. :D

    I didn't know Assault Systems was still in business. I've got an old tanker style chest/shoulder holster of theirs that I used to wear on EST... great holster, rugged as all get out. I liked some of their other gear, also. I'll have to keep an eye out for their stuff.

    Depends on where I am going, off roading with my buds, a gun boot will do.
    traveling , use lockable hard cases. Local trips a sock or soft case .

    soft cases except for when there is a scope that needs protected or if i need to set up in an open area where there isnt anything to lay weapons on.

    Limp soft cases have become the catalyst for my insanity at the ranges sometimes. Hard cases stack well, carry well and hold the firearms in place in transit and hefting them around.
