Actions have consequences, as the politicians in this Vermont city are going to learn. Good for the range owners. If this is what it takes to make them pay attention then I say go for it. I'd also extend the ban to local businesses, too. No cops, city employees or politicians allowed. Shun them all. Maybe then they'll get the message.

Didn't Ronnie Barrett suspend sales to California LE, after they banned 50 calibers.

Did I read that right where it said the range was 50 miles away from the city? The PD there must already be having issues with finding a place to shoot if they're driving 50 miles to train.

Yep, he's a stand up guy! Not only will he not sell to them he won't service their guns. They also place the statement below in most of their printed materials.

"The California Legislature has banned the .50 BMG from its good citizens, violating their rights and the constitution of our republic. Therefore, Barrett will not sell to or service any California government agencies."
