:ar15:OK, here's the deal, put this in general instead of our subsection to get this out to as many INGO'ers as possible....

Short version, our long time employee, and Wholesale manager, Aaron Strode, was involved in a motorcycle accident over a month ago, this resulted in him suffering a traumatic brain injury. As a result Aaron and his family (his father also works for us) have been saddled with an overwhelming amount of medical bills. We here at Orion Arms, along with some friends, have come up with a 3 fold plan to help off set that, first is a charity auction Oct 6th, second is a benefit ride Oct 20th, and lastly is a gun raffle.
Here is the deal, we will be raffling off a huge package deal, one winner, tickets will be $1each or 100 tickets for $50. So far we have a Ruger 10/22, Del-ton Extreme Ar15, Rock River custom upper, Accurate Tool custom lower, a Kel-tec KSG, a custom .308 bolt gun, some Blind Horse Knives, DPMS is sending me a heavy caliber AR platform gun, Huntertown has come through with a .308can, we are paying the tax stamp, Bobcat Steel is sendign us some wicked stuff, ESEE knives, Vortex optics, Beeman 2251 tempest air pistol, Beeman ss100t rifle, Ammo to Go donated a $300 gift card, Advanced Armament donated a Remington 700 barrel in .260 threaded to accept the suppressor, etc etc. I'm sure I forgot something, plus the list is growing everyday!!!!!
IF any of the dealers, or people want to donate anything to the list we will gladly include it in the winner takes all package, we are looking for handguns and ammo at the moment. Please contact me and let me know.
As soon as all donations are received I'll start selling tickets, and will post it up so everyone can get a chance to donate and have a shot at winning. 100%, each and every penny, will go directly to Aaron and his family!!! We hope we can at least offset some of the stress so all he has to do is focus on his rehab and getting better. More details will follow as they become available!!!! :rockwoot:

Thanks for reading my pleas, and please let those around you know how you feel everyday, its shocking how quick things change.

Thanks!!!! IT's amazing how many compaines ahve come through with donations. Blind Horse Knives really hit it big because we don't sell them here at the store. (thats gonna change) But all of us buy from them at the shows, especially the 1500, and most of us buy their monthy specials, I dropped them an email asking for a donation and seconds later got a response that almost brought me to tears, not to mention a donation.
Always told people I loved buying from a "family" company, they proved that to me. BIG TIME!!!!

Chris, just wanted to reaffirm that we will be pitching in as well. I'll get you the details when I figure out what all we can do.

I wish the ride was a different weekend though...not going to be able to make it due to the 1500.:crying:

I know, me too, but the time frame fit for the police escorts, there is a very immediate need to help keep things above water right now, it just had to happen then.
We wanted to do it on a Sunday, becausee not all the guys from work can make saturday since we have to keep the store open, but it is what it is.

Thanks again!!!!! You are in the lsit. I'm going to be dedicating a corner of the store for the raffle, the dispaly is going to be off the chart!!!!!
