For those of you who have missed the first half already I am posting pics from today's GSSF Match at Eagle Creek Pistol Range. This is a great event! If you own a GLOCK (or can borrow one) come on out tomorrow and join the fun and have a chance to win a NEW GLOCK pistol! :rockwoot: :D

Hey, I'm the guy holding the timer, to the side of the shooter, with the Maxpedition bag on my shoulder. I'm going to be famous now that my pic is on INGO, that would be of course if anyone could see my face  This is a pretty cool event. I volunteered to be an RO to see what it is all about and see how things are run. I may just have to shoot this competition next year, if I can find some where to actually practice the courses of fire.

Great event, and I'll be back on Sunday.

Another good day today, although I didn't win a Glock. Everyone I met was friendly, got to see some gear and all different levels of shooters. Got to play on the plates for just a few minutes at the end, and received plenty of advice on things I was doing wrong. :D

Had a great time volunteering. I can say that 1 of the 2 Glocks went to a very good home and the recipient was VERY excited. We all know which 1 I'm talking about. I met a few ppl and really enjoyed the weekend. I did lose my rake, though. Oops. Oh, well. I will be back next year. Maybe even compete, but will need loads of practice first.

And I made it into a pic. Have I really gotten that big? Good thing my face isn't visiible.

Thanks to everyone who helped out and competed. Made this a very good learning experience for myself and at least 2 others that I spoke with.

I also witnessed 2 pros loan a race Glock to one of the ROs that they knew. Very sweet gun.

Does anyone have the name of the winners?

One posted above. Both winners were present and accounted for at the end of match RO meeting.

I'd like to say thanks to Vince and several of the other RO's who have done this before. They took the time to teach some of us that were new to this event a few things about running the match, shooting in general, and about being nice people.

    85t5mcss,

I didn't know you ment to leave the rake.. I put the rake between the range trailer and the green cart.

All the newbie's were great and the return RO's! Thanks for all the help this weekend. The match ran smoothly and everyone helped with cleanup so that went fast. The range looked great after everything was packed away.

I worked the 5 to Glock both days. Was running the check in table there for the most part yesterday, and split time between running the timer on one of the lanes on the 5 to Glock and working the check in table there today.

And, I too was wearing glasses, a blue shirt and a tan hat ;), but with shorts.

Thanks to everyone who helped this year! This match can't be done without your help. One of the reasons GSSF keeps coming back to Indy is the awesome pool of RO Volunteers.

Congrats to James & Kennedy (hope I'm spelling her name correctly. And BTW, she's only 11!!) for winning the Glock's!

    You folks are the best!

I' ll b back next year. Maybe with a little practice I won't embarrass myself and Ill find my way into competing. Purely for sport and the enjoyment.

No, didn't mean to leave it, just kind of forgot. I guess I was preoccupied. But, I did make it home, grab it, and make it back in 10 minutes.:rockwoot:

    More pics.

Here are some more random pics I took while on my lunch break today. Too tired to caption them but if any of you would like to, feel free. I have also posted a bunch of them on the GSSF thread over on Glock Talk.
